Ryan found Julio Jones 12 times for 253 yards, locking onto him for almost the entire game. Tampa Bay was missing one of its starting corners in Vernon Hargreaves, and Atlanta was able to take advantage of it.

Matt Ryan completed 26-of-35 passes for 317 yards and one touchdown in the Falcons' 34-20, Week 12 win over the Bucs.

Jones now has three games in his brilliant career with at least 250 yards receiving.

Over nine games this season, Freeman has accumulated 652 total yards and 5 touchdowns.

Down 27-6 in the third quarter, the Bucs got two touchdowns and almost a third — down seven points, they went for it on fourth-and-1 at the Atlanta 18 but threw incomplete with seven minutes left in the fourth. The highlight was a 51-yard bomb he caught on a trick play with Mohamed Sanu lined up in the Falcons' "12-guage" formation. Atlanta would score on another Julio Jones touchdown grab on that next possession to extend the Falcons' lead 17-3 with under eight minutes to play in the half. And nickel back Brian Poole was lost to a lower-back injury.

The Falcons, at 7-4, now have strung together three wins in a row as they march toward securing a playoff spot. Over the current two-game win streak the Bucs are only giving up 15 points per game and are forcing turnovers as they had two against the Jets and then five in Miami against the Dolphins.

The Falcons will host the Vikings (9-2) on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. (The game could be flexed, however).

The Buccaneers defense is going to have nightmares about Jones until they face the Falcons again on December 18. You can recap all the action below.
