Scott Brunton said he met Takei in 1981 when he was living in Hollywood and had just broken up with his boyfriend. Takei

Scott Brunton had just gone through a bad breakup when actor George Takei offered to take him out on the town. Koenig, who portrayed the Russian character "Chekov", is the final "Star Trek" cast member to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. from the 1966-1969 series. The two men knew each other socially. "And I thought, 'OK, that would be nice'". Brunton recalled that Takei served it in a Star Trek glass, which he found "a bit cheesy". "He is very sympathetic".

"This happened a long time ago, but I have never forgotten it", he said.

When Brunton started on his second drink he said he quickly started to feel unwell. "He was very good at consoling me and understanding that I was upset and still in love with my boyfriend", Brunton explained.

When he came to, his trousers were at his ankles and Takei was reportedly groping his crotch and trying to take off his underwear.

Again, if the events of that fateful night in 1981 unfolded as Brunton claims, the hypocrisy levels we're looking at here are truly astounding. I can not tell you how vital it has been to have his unwavering support and love in these hard times.

He then claims he went to drinks with Takei, having just broken up with his boyfriend at the time. You're in no condition to drive.' I said, 'I don't care I want to go.' So I managed to get my trousers up and compose myself and I was just shocked. "I walked out and went to my vehicle until I felt well enough to drive home, and that was that", Brunton said.

Takei's spokeswoman, Julia Buchwald, said the star, now 80, was traveling in Australia and not available for comment.

Four friends of Scott's confirmed that they had heard to story from him years ago, and that it had a big impact on him.

Brunton said he was angered when he read Takei's statement. But he left Los Angeles shortly after the alleged incident with Takei, disillusioned with Hollywood.

Brunton said he later called Takei at his hotel and asked if he remembered him. In the early 80s, he says that he worked as a waiter whilst his career as a commercial actor was still in its infancy.

Brunton is now self-employed and lives in Portland, Oregon with his husband. "That is my reason".

Takei is bets known for his role in Star Trek and is an advocate for LGBTQ rights.

"When power is used in a non-consensual situation, it is a wrong", Takei told the Reporter.

As Weinstein's story exploded, actor Anthony Rapp also spoke up about an alleged incident between him and actor Kevin Spacey in 1986. Big names like Louie CK, Kevin Spacey, and Brett Ratner (among others) are all facing claims of truly vile behavior. "Men who improperly harass or assault do not do so because they are gay or straight - that is a deflection", he told THR. When Brunton resisted, Takei said he only wanted to get him "comfortable".

Brunton was struck by what he saw as deep hypocrisy on Takei's part. I said, 'I need to sit down, ' and he said, 'Sit over here, ' and he had the giant yellow beanbag chair. "And I said, 'No". "I'm trying to expose [Takei] for the hypocrite that he is".
