James Corden donned a fish net top and snake hoodie as he attempted to take the place of one of Taylor Swift's backing dancers in a new segment on his late night talk show.

The host, who took over general manager duties for the night at the Forum venue, crashed the singer's backstage choreography rehearsal after learning - via fake phone call - that one of Swift's dancers was "down" for the night. He changed to a black fishnet top and learned the steps to Swift's routine within minutes. That gave the comedian a chance to "help" Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, Sam Smith and others before the Swift emergency. "Save yourself. Go now, go now, go now", she told her dancers. He was his most James Corden self; she was typical witty, sarcastic old Taylor Swift. It looked like he might have won over Swift and her squad with a couple energy boosting warm-ups, but in the end, Corden wouldn't get his debut. She performed her hits, including "Ready For It?", "Blank Space", "Look What You Made Me Do" and more. Fans will next get to see her perform live on her upcoming reputation tour, which kicked off pre-sales this week. The latter taught the former a secret handshake, and he praised Lovato for memorizing it quickly.
