Mr. Wynn, in a statement, said it was the fight between him and his former wife that had started the allegations, underscoring the friction between the company's top two shareholders.

Wynn also said in his statement that "the instigation of these accusations is the continued work of" Elaine Wynn, who he said has "threatened to slander" him.

The company claims it's a smear job created to derail Wynn's divorce proceedings with ex-wife Elaine Wynn.

Montana Republican Party Chairwoman Debra Lamm said her state party would follow the lead of Montana Democrats who in November chose not to forfeit $12,000 equal to contributions it had received from Franken. Wynn is chairman of Wynn Resorts, with a half-dozen luxury casino properties in Las Vegas.

According to the Journal, Wynn, 75, often walked around his properties in very revealing shorts which would expose his genitalia and then request massages and manicures.
