Departed dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns was expected to depart for Belgium Saturday until her fatal auto crash late Thursday night at Mankranso in the Ashanti region.

The unfortunate accident occurred late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.

The twenty-year-old starlet, whose real name is Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was returning from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region when the Jeep she was travelling in collided with a VIP bus, according to police.

The two military officials also died later at the Bechem Government Hospital after they were rushed there DSP John Adusei, Mankraso District Commander, revealed.

The songstress who posted the photo on her Instagram, captioned the photo, "I enjoyed our meeting today Daddy" which could mean Dr Tetteh was her "Spiritual Father".

She would have turned 21 on February 16. She was known for her hit songs "Poison" and "Kupe".

Ebony Reigns came out with her first single, "Dancefloor", in December 2015 with a video and audio release. The song was nominated for the unsung category award at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards. In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single "Kupe", which is a household anthem in Ghana and some other African countries.
