Bhavesh Joshi, which stars the Kapoor star-kid as a desi vigilante, was earlier scheduled to be released on May 25 but after much deliberation, the makers have made a decision to postpone the date to June 1, mentioned a statement released on Tuesday. Now, after a third shift in the release date, Parmanu is all set to release on May 25 and it seems pretty much fair to give the film a solo release after going through so much.

The release date of Bhavesh Joshi was pushed to June 1 as the makers considered the date more appropriate for distributional profit. It has a greater audience potential and is a safe distance away from holdover Hindi and English releases.

Veere Di Wedding, meanwhile, had announced its release date a year ago itself.

Wonder if the makers of Sonam's film now plan to change the release date of their film to avoid the clash.

"Bhavesh Joshi Superhero" traces the journey of a group of friends who set out on the path of righteousness.

Coincidentally, Harshvardhan's cousin, Arjun Kapoor, will also be seen in the flick, shaking his legs on the tunes of a peppy number, "Chavanprash". Over a series of thrilling incidents, their life takes a curve, leading a common man to become a superhero in the form of Bhavesh Joshi.

The film is helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane and will feature some intense action sequences and hand-combat scenes.

Distributor and trade analyst Girish Wankhede, however, said: "The makers of Bhavesh Joshi should delay the release as Veere Di Wedding is carrying a very huge buzz and Harshvardhan's film will not get noticed".
