Nonetheless, the new update contains a handful of important software tweaks and we're going to present them right now.

Earlier this week, the Xbox One box art for No Man's Sky gave us a huge clue that the NEXT update might include multiplayer.

"You can play with a bunch of your friends", said Murray.

Murray announced this news throughout a "Inside Xbox" stream, he also announced that No Man's Sky will be debuting to the Xbox One at the exact same time as this update goes live. Murray's basic description of what players can do is a bit reminiscent of Dark Souls' multiplayer where players can either help or hurt each others' experience. Shelters and complex colonies can be built and shared by all the players as well. The reaction that No Man's Sky is coming to Xbox One was lovely too.

The game now does have a limited form of multiplayer, but with the update, players will be able to interact with other players better, such as grouping up with them to survive, build, race, and relax.

The long awaited feature will be available across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC when the Next update lands on July 24th.
