The unnamed woman was arrested shortly after the dirty protest at a Tim Hortons restaurant, a coffee and fast-food chain in Canada.

It was literally a crappy day for one British Columbia woman.

The disturbing incident was captured on the shop's security camera and uploaded to a variety of social media sharing platforms Wednesday, including Liveleak and YouTube. She then fled the scene. She returns to napkin dispenser two more times, where she wipes herself and throws the soiled napkins at staff before making her exit.

Moments later, she grabs the faeces from the floor and hurls it towards the employee before pulling up her pants and storming out.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police told BuzzFeed the woman was "briefly detained after the incident" and prosecutors will determine if the woman will face charges when she appears in court at a later date.

The incident took place at about 6:15 p.m.at the Douglas Crescent Tim Hortons in downtown Langley City.

Tim Hortons representatives confirmed that purchases are not necessary to use store restrooms, although some restaurants may have door codes or other locks on bathrooms, according to local reports.
