Diablo: Blizzard Working on Multiple Games

Given that outside of a small hero addition and some updates Diablo has been mostly dormant since 2014, it was easy to think that it would be a long while until we saw anything substantial again, but this changes that perception. And we have multiple Diablo projects in the works.

She added that some of the projects will take more time to develop than others while some of the Diablo projects will be revealed by the end of 2018.

Although it's not the first time we've heard about them developing a new Diablo, it's certainly the first we've been told about the amount of work being taken on.

The Blizzard team posted a few new job listings back in June, confirming the Diablo news, but now we've got a brand new manager from the mouths of the team themselves.

What could these projects be?

Nintendo's Switch console has been quite popular and owners are eagerly consuming tons of games every month.

Speaking of Diablo, original Diablo designer recently revealed that Diablo 3 would have been much more Diablo II-looking if Blizzard North had developed the game.

"Our mobile initiatives will expand their access to our iconic franchises by making them available to hundreds of millions of new players around the world", Activision CEO Bobby Kotick said during the call.

Now that Blizzard has gone on record saying multiple projects are in the works, it's possible one of them could be the rumored Switch port of Diablo 3.
