The cheapest new iPhone is $750 and prices quickly climb up to $1,450.

Apple has just revealed a trio of new iPhones, including its most expensive ever - the £1099 iPhone XS Max.

The 256GB model is available for £1,249 while the 512GB model is £1,449. But the iPhone XR, which also happens to be one of the main attractions this year, will not be available until late October, possibly due to both software and hardware issue, suggests a new report.

Likewise, Forbes' Gordon Kelly wrote a detailed head-to-head comparison of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, but advised consumers to buy the iPhone XR, as the device "delivers all the key features" of its higher-end counterparts at a considerably lower price.

The best offer with O2 has the Max with a 100GB data allowance costing £65 a month, plus UL minutes/texts with an upfront cost of £104.99.

In the CPU, GPU, UX and memory tests of AnTuTu, the iPhone XS has respectively scored 133,561, 150,931, 66,474 and 12,559 which brings the total benchmarking score to 363,525. Wearables, AI, augmented reality and smart home devices are coming into their own, and Apple is certainly an important player to keep an eye on in these spaces if you care about the future of tech.
