Man United reportedly considering controversial swap deal for Paulo Dybala

One job that the World Cup victor continues to be linked with is Jose Mourinho's at Manchester United.

Pogba has done little to kill the rumours surrounding his future or his relationship with Jose Mourinho, who made him captain in the absence of Antonio Valencia at the start of the season.

His public statements, coupled with footage of him dancing with the French national team, have angered a number of supporters, many of whom have called for him to leave the club.

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has insisted that the Red Devils "would be fine" if Paul Pogba left.

Neville admits that he would like to see more from the midfielder at Old Trafford, but believes Manchester United can survive even if they sell the Frenchman in the near future.

Pogba fuelled suggestions that he wants to leave with his comments during the recent worldwide break, and it is widely thought that he will seek a move in either January or at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has endured putting up with Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho over the past year but has chose to calm his nerves with the United boss. "I feel completely contented at Bayern - one of the biggest clubs in the world".

German media reported in August that Boateng informed United coach Jose Mourinho of his decision to not return to Manchester, where he had played for local rivals City in the 2010-11 season.

"United got a valuable win at Turf Moor last time but they won't relish a trip to Vicarage Road and I expect the resurgent hosts to get at least a point from the game".

"So there are four ways to look at it - pundit, owner, fan, a personal word".

"They have to protect their asset but privately they might be doing a deal because they want to get their £90million back".
